About Selesta

Selesta 2K16 aims at the synergy of ideas of students and enthusiasts from all over the country & abroad. Here students take honour to exhibit their talents and opportunity to develop their skills in sports, culturals and other events - we have more than 50 events, over 10 sporting events..
It is a competition-centric festival designed to harness the skills & talents of individuals at the same time enhancing the creativity, dynamism and critical thinking skills of the participants through a series of challenging tasks and mind boggling activities.
The Three day long youth festival Selesta-2012 was inaugurated on 27th February 2012 by Noted Film Director Mr. V. Samudra. Thousands of students from various engineering colleges in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh and Karnataka participated in the first day of the Programme. Students exhibited their talent in activities of sports like Cricket, Volley Ball, Basket Ball. Students also partcipated in various Games and Cultural events. The spectacular fireworks were on display during the start of evening's function. Chairman, Dr.R. Venkataswamy lighted the lamp and inaugurated evening's function. Vice chairman, R.V. Srinivas, Noted film Director Mr. V. Samudra, Lyricist Mr. Vennelakanti were among others who graced the Occasion. Cine Actor Miss. Chitralekha anchored the whole show and enthralled the audience with her youthful energy and exuberance.
Cine comedians and Mimicry Artists created a laughing riot with their talents. Students showcased their talent in the cultural events including dance & drama. The second was special with the presence of ISHQ team. Hero Nitin, Actor Ajay, Vikram (Director of the Film), other actors put the stage on fire with their entertaining presence and participation. The actor was huge hit with the female audience. This was followed up by a spectacular presentation of the latest in fashion by the students in the Kalanjali Fashion Show. The third was even special with breath taking Laser Show and the presence of very special Shruthi Hasan. Shruthi created magic with her words and set the stage on fire with her voice, singing few lines of a Telugu Song. The audience were on the edge of their seats and were thrilled to see their favourite star in person. The event came to a gala end with a dazzling display of fireworks. Singers Geetha Madhuri, Sravana Bharghavi, Sri Krishna, Krishna Chaitanya and Revanth entertained the audience with their foot tapping numbers.In simple terms.. Selesta 2012 was spectacular.
The next year was even more spectacular.
Selesta 2K13 became even bigger and better. It also saw wider participation. It was Tamanna who dazzled the show this time. Comedians Venu, Gali Sudhakar, Dhanraj and Chandra enthralled the audience with their rib tickling jokes. Dance performance of Russian Angels was awe inspiring.
And..Now...Selesta 2K16
This year we have added many more programmes and included number of celebrity participants as a part of making the programme much more lively, attractive and entertaining. The planed scale of organization has been increased substantially to include increased number of audience and make it much more tele-worthy.
